NOTA Links

I have added links to some websites advocating for NOTA voter consent laws.  Most of the sites are focused on introducing state and/or federal NOTA based voter consent laws or a voter consent constitutional amendment.  I recommend visiting the websites, especially the NOTA.org site, for the good info on the concept of “voter consent” and the importance of withholding consent.  I also want to be clear, however, that I consider it highly quixotic to believe that elected officials would voluntarily consent to giving up their monopoly of consent, whether that be through legislation or constitutional amendment.  Until we as voters clearly show that we are not going to wait for elected officials to give us permission to vote NOTA, they certainly won’t feel any real pressure to change.
